New Ayub Medical College (AMC), Abbottabad, is seeking qualified professionals for several Basic & Clinical Faculty Positions on a fixed-term basis.
Chairperson Positions
The institution is hiring Chairpersons for the following departments:
- Physiology
- Biochemistry
- Pharmacology
- Pathology
- Community Medicine
- Forensic Medicine
- Anesthesia
- Surgery
- Dentistry
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Candidates must hold an MBBS/BDS (for Dental Sciences) or equivalent degree recognized by the PMDC.
- Higher Qualifications: Higher qualifications such as FCPS, FRCS, PhD in the concerned specialty, or a US Board Certification/equivalent level III qualification are required.
- Registration: A valid PMDC registration is mandatory.
- Age Limit: Up to 67 years.
- Domicile: Open to candidates from all over Pakistan.
Key Terms and Conditions
- Appointment Term: Chairpersons are appointed for a period of 3 years, subject to satisfactory performance and achievement of KPIs.
- Probation: Appointees will be on probation for one year.
- Private Practice: Selected Clinical Chairpersons must conduct Institution Based Private Practice (IBP) within Ayub Teaching Hospital premises and are not allowed to practice elsewhere.
- Government Servants: Current government employees must apply through the proper channel with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

seniormanagerhr.ath@ayubmed.edu.pk. - Processing Fee: A non-refundable fee of Rs. 2000/- must be deposited into MCB Bank, Ayub Medical College Branch, Account No. 0132003010000305.
- Hard Copy: A complete application pack with the original bank receipt and two passport-size photographs must be sent via registered courier to the “Dean/CEO, Ayub Medical College, Main Mansehra Road, Abbottabad”.
- Deadline: Applications must be submitted before the close of official working hours on February 27, 2026.
