🧾 Easy Steps for Digital Invoicing:

  1. Simple IRIS Registration

  2. Integration via Approved Integrator

  3. Selection of Licensed Integrator

  4. Automatic Generation of Digital Invoice

  5. Invoice will have QR Code for verification

  6. Buyer can view and claim the tax via scanned invoice

Once integrated, invoices are validated and recorded in real-time, ensuring compliance and transparency.

✅ 1. IRIS Registration (If not already registered)

IRIS is FBR’s online tax portal.

Steps:

  • Click on “Registration for Unregistered Person” if you’re new.

  • Provide:

    • CNIC/NTN

    • Mobile number & email (linked to CNIC)

    • Business details

  • Verify with OTP and complete profile.

FBR has partnered with Licensed POS Integrators who handle the setup and connection between your POS system and FBR.

Once you’ve chosen your integrator:

What happens:

  • Your Point of Sale (POS) system is connected with FBR.

  • Every sale will automatically generate a verified digital invoice with a QR code.

  • Invoices are instantly uploaded to FBR in real time.

  • All invoices now include a QR code.

  • Buyers can scan the QR code to verify:

    • Invoice validity

    • Tax paid

  • This helps customers claim tax benefits and report fake invoices.
