The Federal Government Polyclinic (PGMI), Islamabad, is a 545-bedded Tertiary Care Teaching Hospital affiliated with the College of Physician & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) and Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU) for Postgraduate training in all major disciplines of Medicine & Allied and Surgery & Allied.
Eligibility Criteria
- Degree: MBBS degree or equivalent (Mark Sheets of all professionals must be shown).
- Registration: Valid Temporary Registration with PM&DC (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council) for House Job training is mandatory. (A payment receipt for registration will not be entertained.)
- Identity: Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
How to Apply
- Registration and Submission: Interested candidates are advised to appear for registration and submission of required documents on the scheduled dates and times listed below. Bring original documents mentioned in the eligibility criteria as well as one set of attested photocopies.
- Selection: Registered candidates will be called for an MCQs-based written test. The schedule for this test will be communicated to the candidates upon registration.

- Awarding of House Job: House Job training will be awarded in accordance with FGPC (PGMI) and PM&DC rules & regulations.
- Verification: Original documents will be checked before final selection.

- Travel/Daily Allowance: No TA/DA will be admissible.
- Hostel: Hostel Facility will not be provided to selected House Job Trainees.
- Warning: Failure to provide complete information/documents or providing false information will result in immediate exclusion from the induction process and after induction at any stage of training.
