Job Title: Head of Community Department (Community Ophthalmology)
Hospital: LRBT Tertiary Teaching Eye Hospital, Korangi 2½, Karachi

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the department to ensure high-quality patient care, compliance with standards, and budget control.

• Oversee education programs and mentor faculty and trainees at the LRBT School.

• Manage outreach activities, including eye camps, public awareness drives, and the evaluation of the Primary Eye Care (PEC) network.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Essential: MBBS degree from a reputable university.

• Essential: Valid PMDC (Pakistan Medical & Dental Council) license.

• Highly Preferred: M.Sc. in Community Ophthalmology.

• An Advantage: FCPS, FRCS, MCPS, or DOMS in Ophthalmology.

• Experience: Proven experience as an ophthalmologist with expertise in clinical work, teaching, leadership, and outreach. Skills in monitoring and evaluation, preferably of primary medical facilities, are required.

Salary: Will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
