Role Overview:
NAPA is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced leader to head its Theatre Arts department. The ideal candidate will have the vision and passion to drive this successful department to the next level of development, fostering academic and creative excellence. This is a senior role responsible for the overall progress, smooth operation, and creative growth of a dynamic department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary leadership to the Theatre Arts department.
- Oversee the department’s progress, ensuring operational smoothness and creative growth.
- Inspire and manage faculty and students.
- Foster a high-achieving, reflective, and inclusive academic environment.
- Teach and advocate for Theatre Arts.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Essential: An advanced degree in a directly related field from a renowned, internationally recognized performing arts institution.
- (This requirement may be relaxed for senior and eminent theatre/drama practitioners).
- Exemplary leadership and teaching prowess.
- A dedicated advocate for Theatre Arts with a passion for the subject.
- Strong ability to communicate with and inspire young individuals.
- Commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
