The Government of the Punjab, Livestock & Dairy Development Department is seeking highly accomplished, qualified and motivated professionals for the position of Vice Chancellor in the following public sector university:

Essential Requirements
The Vice Chancellor shall be the principal executive and academic officer of the University and would promote teaching, research and publications, and ensure excellent administration and efficiency of the University. The applicant should:
- Not be more than 65 years of age on the last date fixed for the submission of applications.
- Have a PhD degree from an HEC recognized institution.
- Have experience as a senior academic, research or management leadership position.
- Have experience of working in a well-reputed international organization / academic institution (teaching / research / management) at a relatively senior position.
- Have demonstrated capability for mobilization of financial resources from national/international agencies.
- Have demonstrated/documented experience of establishing new organizations or restructuring existing organizations/departments.
- Have a distinguished research and publications record.
- Have earned civil awards, if any.

Term of Appointment & Salary
Vice Chancellor shall be appointed for a term of four (04) years and shall serve at the pleasure of the Chancellor. The incumbent will be entitled for maximum salary as a Professor on Tenure Track System, as per approval of the Government.
