Minimum Age Limit: 55 years		 • Minimum qualification: LL.B. degree with at least twenty (20) years of post-qualification experience in civil, criminal, and intellectual property matters at the District Courts and High Court levels.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience serving as a legal adviser in a public sector organization.
• Registration: Valid enrolment/ membership with a High Court Bar Association.

  • Appointments shall be made purely on a contract basis, initially for a period of twelve (12) months, extendable for further term(s) of one (01) year subject to satisfactory performance.
  • Remuneration shall be negotiable and commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
  • Candidates possessing higher qualifications and an excellent academic record shall be given preference.
  • Applicants already in Government service must apply through proper channel.
  • PCSIR reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts and to postpone or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
  • Selection shall be made strictly on merit, and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
  • No TA/DA shall be admissible for test/interview.
  • PCSIR recruitment rules and regulations shall apply.
  • The initial place of posting shall be Islamabad; however, the selected candidate may be posted at any PCSIR laboratory across Pakistan, as per requirement.
