Reko Diq Mining Company, operated by Barrick and a joint venture with the Government of Balochistan and the Government of Pakistan, is recruiting a team of high caliber individuals for the development of its outstanding, world-class mining projectโthe Reko Diq Copper-Gold Mine in Balochistan.
Positions and Requirements

| Tax & Compliance Associate | Karachi | – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field (CA/equivalent qualified i.e. ACCA or ICMA preferred). – Preferably 3 years of experience in tax, finance, or compliance (experience with Big 4 or MNC is an advantage). | – Expert understanding of Pakistan tax laws, including Income Tax, Sales Tax, WHT/filing, and payroll taxation. – Proficient in MS Office especially Excel and Word. – Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information. | – Assist in preparing and filing tax returns accurately and on time, under the supervision and review of the Head Tax & Compliance. – Support in tax audits and inquiries, preparing required documentation. – Assist with tax compliance across various taxes including WHT, Sales Tax, and Income Tax. – Coordinate with tax consultants. – Assist with special tax incentives under the Foreign Investment Act 2022 and other relevant laws. |
| Armoured Bus Driver | TBD at Reko Diq – Balochistan | – High School Diploma with a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and PSV endorsement. – Clean driving record. – Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus. | Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. | – Drive and operate armoured buses and other large vehicles safely and effectively. – Adhere to RDM, traffic rules/regulations, and emergency response protocols. – Maintain vehicle logbooks, conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and ensure vehicles are well-maintained. – Perform minor vehicle maintenance, keep vehicles clean, and promptly report mechanical issues. |
| Import and Export Senior Officer | Karachi | – Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. | Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience. | – Manage import and export operations, including documentation, HS codes, tariff analysis, and compliance with customs regulations. – Prepare import/export documentation, ensure compliance with customs procedures, and coordinate with internal/external parties (Customs, freight forwarders, transport vendors). – Coordinate with site and transport teams to ensure timely import/export and clearance. – Maintain records for audit purposes. – Proactively communicate with customers/stakeholders. |
| Port Load Master | Karachi | – Bachelor’s degree in Transportation/Logistics Management, Project Management, or a related field. | Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a logistics/transportation coordinator, preferably as a Port Load Master. | – Possess strong knowledge of port regulations and procedures. – Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. – Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks. – Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written). – Proficient in MS Office and logistics software. |

| Safety Supervisor | Reko Diq Site – Balochistan | – Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Occupational Health & Safety or related field. – Diploma/Certificate in OH&S from a recognized institute is desirable. | Minimum 5-7 years of working experience in the Construction/Resources industries. | – Experienced in setting safety procedures/standards, with solid knowledge of relevant regulations. – Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. – Ability to work independently/collaboratively. – Proficient in MS Office. – Knowledge of OH&S software and applications. |
| Security Officer | Reko Diq Site – Balochistan | – Intermediate or equivalent with a diploma or certificate in Security Management/OH&S. | At least 05 years of relevant experience. | – Conduct security inspections and enforce security policies. – Manage guard force and control room operations. – Respond to and investigate security incidents. – Implement and enforce access control procedures. – Maintain security systems. – Conduct security training and awareness programs. – Liaise with local law enforcement/agencies. |
| Supply Chain & Administration Officer | Reko Diq Site – Balochistan | – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. | Minimum 3-5 years of experience in handling logistics or depot management. | – Strong knowledge of fuel handling procedures, safety regulations, and environmental standards. – Proficient in MS Office and supply chain management software. – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. – Attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills. – Ability to work under pressure. |
| Geologist | Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan | – MBSc/MSc in relevant field (Geological Engineering, or a related field). | 5 years of experience in mine/exploration geology. | – Proficient in geological mapping, drilling, logging, and sampling activities while ensuring accuracy/safety. – Experience in resource/reserve estimation using industry-standard software (e.g., Leapfrog, Micromine, Datamine). – Knowledge of geological modeling, structural geology, and mineralization processes. – Ability to work independently in remote field conditions. – Excellent written/verbal communication skills in English. |
| Contractor Compliance Officer | Supply Chain & Administration – Karachi, Quetta, or Islamabad | – Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field. | Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management, compliance, or a similar role, preferably in the mining or construction industries. | – Strong knowledge of Pakistani labor laws, industry best practices related to contractor compliance, and legal/regulatory framework. – Proficient in MS Office. – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. – Attention to detail and analytical skills. – Ability to work independently and travel extensively. |
