JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Applications are invited for the following positions from eligible candidates having domicile of Sindh Province, in the Sindh Higher Education Commission, Government of Sindh for appointment on contract/contributory pension scheme basis as per rules/requirement of the posts, detailed as under:

1.	Director (Strategic Planning) BPS-19	1	– Masters (18 years) in any discipline at least in second division from University / Institution recognized by HEC Pakistan. – Minimum 12 years of relevant professional and research experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership/management role in a recognized research organization, think tank, university, or government institution. – International exposure and collaboration with global think tanks (e.g., RAND Corporation) will be preferred. – Exceptional leadership, policy analysis, and research management skills. – Strong communication and presentation skills. – Proficiency in MS Office, data visualization, and digital collaboration platforms. – Ability to develop partnerships with academia, government, and international stakeholders – Age Upto 45 Years.
2.	Deputy Director Strategic Planning BPS-18	2	– Masters (18 years) in any discipline at least in second division or equivalent from University / Institution recognized by HEC Pakistan. – At least 5 years relevant experience or equivalent in research/academic/management/policy making/HR and supervisory capacity under Government/Semi Govt./Autonomous bodies or reputable organization. – Publications in reputed journals or policy papers will be preferred. – Advanced planning and analytical skills. – Strong coordination and team management. – Strong communication and presentation skills. – Proficiency in MS Office. – Age Upto 40 Years.
3.	Assistant Director Strategic Planning BPS-17	2	– Bachelors (16 years) in any discipline at least in second division or equivalent from University / Institution recognized by HEC Pakistan. – At least 2 years of relevant administrative experience under Government/Semi Government/Autonomous bodies or reputable organization. – Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills. – Computer literate with MS Office and statistical software. – Coordination and teamwork abilities. – Age Upto 30 Years.
4.	Data Analyst BPS-17	2	– Bachelors (16 years) education in Statistics/Computer Science/Economics or equivalent recognized by HEC Pakistan. – At least 2 years’ experience in data analysis, visualization, and research support under Government/Semi Government/Autonomous bodies or reputable organization. Strong knowledge of statistical tools (SPSS, STATA, R, Python). – Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization softwares, – Analytical and problem-solving skills. – Ability to work with large datasets. – Age Upto 30 Years.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Interested candidates, who meet the above-mentioned eligibility criteria, apply for respective posts through courier at the official postal address of Sindh HEC: F-60/1, Near Abdullah Shah Ghazi Shrine, Shahrah-e-Attar, Clifton, Block-4, Karachi.
Candidates, fulfilling above mentioned eligibility criteria, will be called for written test subject to condition that they will pay a fee of Rs. 1,000/- for each post. Mode of payment of written test fee will be communicated through written test call letter.
Relaxation in upper age limit will be allowed as per policy of the Government of Sindh.
Selected/appointed candidates will be posted at the Sindh Higher Education Commission (SHEC), Karachi.
Those already in government service are required to apply through proper channel.
Sindh HEC reserves the right to increase, decrease or withdraw all or any of the posts.
Canvassing in any form or manner shall disqualify the candidate(s).
The application are required to be submitted within 20 days of the publication of this advertisement.
No TA/DA is admissible to the candidates for appearing in the test/interview.
