WAPDA is seeking a qualified professional for the position of Advisor Tarbela 4th and 5th Extension Hydropower Projects

This role is a contract-based senior position focused on technical and managerial oversight.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: B.Sc Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: At least 30 years of extensive experience in Water and Hydropower Management/Engineering.
  • Seniority: Minimum of 05 years of experience in a senior technical or managerial level position.
  • Specific Experience: Substantial experience as a Project Director in Water Sector Hydropower Projects (experience on Tarbela Dam is an added advantage).
  • Skills: Vast experience in contract management, administration, project monitoring, and coordination with international financing institutions.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 62 years.

Job Details & Responsibilities

  • Tenure: Initial contract of 01 year, extendable based on performance or organizational needs.
  • Pay Package: Competitive market-based lumpsum package based on individual qualification and experience.
  • Primary Duties:
  • Review project progress for T4 and T5 HPPS and advise on corrective actions.
  • Provide guidance on contract administration, variation orders, and dispute resolution.
  • Support the Project Director with World Bank financing compliance and reporting.
  • Review progress reports and submit recommendations to Member (Water) and Chairman WAPDA.
