Vacant Positions and Job Descriptions
1. Head Liability Business
(SVP/VP/AVP/OG-I) | Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in Bank/Financial Institution (FI). | Qualification: Minimum Bachelor Degree from HEC recognized National/International University/Institution. | Job Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute business plan, strategies, and staff targets for the Bank’s overall business plan.
- Oversee liability products and campaigns.
- Establish and manage key institutional clients (farmers, SMEs, corporates, retail, and digital customers).
- Monitor market trends, pricing, competitive positioning, and profitability of the liability portfolio.
- Oversee deposit mobilization of over 500 branches.
- Design and roll out marketing, awareness, and campaigns.
- Oversee management of Cash Deposit Centers (CASA) and long-term funds.
- Manage institutional relationship with key clients/fund managers.
- Formulate digital channels strategy.
- Improve branch performance and internal control.
- Ensure adherence to SBP regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
- Manage oversight of deposit pricing, cost of funds, and profitability.
- Implement effective risk management practices.
- Any other task assigned by the management.
2. Unit Head – Product Development
(AVP/VP/OG-I) | Experience: Minimum 08 years’ experience in Bank/Financial Institution (FI). | Qualification: Minimum Bachelor Degree from HEC recognized National/International University/Institution. | Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new liability products (CASA, term deposits, specialized deposit schemes, savings, pensions, etc.) for various customer segments (farmers, SMEs, corporates, retail, youth, women, pensioners).
- Benchmark new products against market trends and introduce innovative solutions.
- Ensure timely pricing, product features, and value propositions.
- Work closely with Head Liability Business, Regional Business Head, Zonal Heads, Branch Managers, and design material.
- Coordinate with Risk Management and Legal departments.
- Manage enhancement to branch capability and product training.
- Develop attractive product features and loyalty programs.
- Analyze data to refine product performance.
- Coordinate with Internal Audit for a smooth product rollout.
- Liaise with the IT department for system design and implementation.
- Any other task assigned by the management.
3. Head Credit Policy
(SVP/VP/AVP/OG-I) | Experience: Minimum 12 years’ experience in Bank/Financial Institution (FI). | Qualification: Minimum Bachelor Degree from HEC recognized National/International University/Institution. | Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and update the Bank’s Credit Policy and Credit Manual to ensure robust risk management frameworks.
- Develop and implement agricultural credit policies and programs, with special attention to climate change.
- Ensure all credit portfolios adhere to policy and procedure.
- Prepare and submit the department’s annual financial budget.
- Scrutinize and execute draft credit policies and procedure statements.
- Ensure addressal and coordinate the resolution of all observations raised in internal and external audit reports related to policy and procedures.
- Supervise the performance of all credit schemes and portfolios.
- Authorize and issue instructional circulars and guidance notes.
- Liaise with other departments.
- Coordinate and evaluate the performance of digital credit initiatives.
- Maintain effective liaison with key stakeholders (SBP, PBC, Federal Government, Provincial Governments, Bank of Pakistan, etc.).
- Any other task assigned by the management.
4. Head Credit Operation
(VP/AVP/OG-I) | Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in Bank/Financial Institution (FI). | Qualification: Minimum Bachelor Degree from HEC recognized National/International University/Institution. | Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare, implement, and monitor the Bank’s annual credit plan.
- Ensure preparation of quarterly markup subsidy claims.
- Manage and control disbursement processes.
- Liaise with various government bodies and public officials.
- Ensure compliance with SBP regulations and internal policies.
- Prepare quarterly markup subsidy claims.
- Ensure all loans are disbursed within 45 days.
- Any other task assigned by the management.
5. Unit Head – Remedial Asset Management
(OG-I) | Experience: Minimum 05 years’ experience in Bank/Financial Institution (FI). | Qualification: Minimum Bachelor Degree from HEC recognized University/Institution (National/International). | Job Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Analysis to shift inherent trends in Collections/Recoveries.
- Identify data-based improvement areas.
- Coordinate with legal department.
- Implement robust collections/recovery strategy.
- Manage timely/accurate data collection.
- Monitoring and persuasion for the achievement of bucket-wise recovery targets.
- Any other task assigned by the management.
6. Software Development / Net Technology
(VP/AVP/OG-I) | Experience: Minimum 10 years’ relevant professional experience in Bank/Financial Institution/Fintech company. | Qualification: Minimum Bachelor Degree from HEC recognized University/Institution (National/International). | Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the analysis, design, and development of software systems.
- Work with systems analysts and stakeholders.
- Create and update technical documentation.
- Perform unit testing and debugging.
- Collaborate with team members.
- Stay current with trends.
- Offer technical support and troubleshoot issues.
- Any other task assigned by the management.
7. Unit Head – Contact Center QA & Development
(OG-I) | Experience: Minimum 05 years’ relevant professional experience. | Qualification: Minimum Bachelor Degree from HEC recognized University/Institution (National/International). | Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor inbound/outbound calls to adhere to quality standards.
- Ensure agent performance based on predefined quality metrics.
- Provide feedback to Agents and Team Leads to improve service quality.
- Identify training needs.
- Maintain detailed records of all Quality Assurance (QA) activities.
- Conduct QA of customer communication.
- Conduct root cause analysis.
- Any other task assigned by the management.
8. IT-Administrator Treasury Division
(OG-I (Islamabad based)) | Experience: Minimum 05 years’ relevant professional experience. | Qualification: Minimum Bachelor Degree from HEC recognized University/Institution (National/International). | Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure network connectivity.
- Manage security patches.
- Administer and manage treasury systems.
- Monitoring application performance.
- Coordinate with SBP IT support.
- Manage security and access rights.
- Responsible for ensuring any hardware/software issues are resolved.
- Ensure disaster recovery systems are functional.
- Candidate should be able to handle MS-SQL Treasury systems.
- Candidate should be able to handle SBP related issues.
- Coordinate with IT management.
- Provide technical support, software installation, and email configuration.
- Any other task assigned by the management.
Eligibility/Ineligibility Criteria
- Maximum age limit for SVP is 55 years, VP is 50 years, AVP is 45 years, OG-I is 40 years and OG-II is 35 years (on closing date).
- Market competitive remuneration will be offered.
